I'm currently conducting virtual team coaching with the Great Initiate Foundation, Ghana. The non-profit organisation was founded by the social entrepreneur Barnabas Wepere Awiah with a vision ofensuring the protection of human rights and creating opportunities for all. From starting up as a small initiative only a few years ago the organisation has grown and is aspiring of creating even more societal impact in the near future.
Team coaching is one way to create bigger impact, as it helps teams to perform better, as well improve well-being since it creates strategies for cooperation between the members. As with coaching in general, it is focused on helping the team finding their own solutions instead of giving advice. When I'm conducting team coaching for social entrepreneurs such as Barnabas (whom are managing teams of their own) I'm also sharing insights about how the methods can be used in order to coach their own teams. Thereby is more impact created.
Despite of some challenges with the Internet connection the team coaching process went well and the team said: "Your training was very exciting, educative, simple to understand and very practical".
